At least the Commonwealth can bond over our shitty currencies... right?

Just wait until Britain standardizes the Pound across the commonwealth.

They can’t, Britain lost all remaining legislative powers over any Commonwealth country some 30 years ago.

They better hurry up, they’ve got like 2 more hours before it loses all of its value entirely, at the rate it’s dropping.

If they couldn’t afford to operate their new carriers before, I’m sure it will be even easier now...
And of course if there’s a new independence vote in Scotland, they’ll lose both the shipyard where those carriers are built and their nuclear sub base.

Fuck that noise. Canada needs to get its dollar up so the NHL salary cap rises even more so the Blackhawks aren’t in cap hell the next 4 or 5 years. Get your shit together canada

I have a feeling that even if Scotland ditched the UK, they’d still maintain good enough relations to keep the facilities. Either that, or it would be a Guantanamo Bay situation where the facilities stay a part of England.

The shipyard would obviously be accessible at some cost. The sub base is trickier, as anti-nuke people would want to shut it down, and when it’s not yours, there’s less pressure to reject that. Seems like a lease until the UK builds a new facility would be likely though.

That would be interesting. Britain invades Canada and the US comes to the rescue. Almost like a reverse War of 1812.

They have 19 surface combatants, out of 77 ships total. They used to have a navy.
